To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who seeks to obtain a loan.
What this means for you: During due diligence performed for purposes of evaluating whether your loan meets our underwriting criteria, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also request your driver’s license or other identifying documents. We will maintain this information in accordance with the Security of your Personal Information section, below.
Collection of your Personal Information
For purposes of this Policy, unless noted otherwise, when we use the term “personal information,” we mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular person or household (“personal information”).
